Modular Compensation Training Set is designed in a modular structure accordingly to 8 - 10kW compensation 
of electrical power to study the concepts concerning compensation, defining circuit elements and providing
applications.

Below applications can be done with the set

  • Observation of the effects of RLC loads on AC circuits
  • Monitoring vector diagram of each phase with LCD display on the reactive power control relay
  • Control and observation of phases via PC Modular Compensation Training Set consist of special designed training bench, 5 modules, 2 load units and necessary accesories.

MODULAR COMPENSATION TRAINING SET

Modular Compensation Training Set shall be designed in a modular structure accordingly to 8 - 10kW compensation of electrical power to study the concepts concerning compensation, defining circuit elements and providing applications.

• The effects of RLC loads on AC circuits shall be observed with Training Set
• The set shall show each phase’s vector diagram
• Control and observation of phases via PC
• Training Set shall consist of the below 5 modules, 2 load unit and necessary accesories

Benctop Module Holder:

Benchtop Module Holder designed as 2 layer railed system with 45x45 mm aluminum profile for application module and shall have 117x79x50 cm dimensions.

Phase Power Supply Module:

•Shall be 3 x 25A 30mA Leakage current relay protected
• Shall be 6-10A Relay protected
• Shall be Emergency Stop Button protected
• All inputs-outputs shall be with 4mm banana safety sockets

Reactive Power Control Relay Module:

• Shall be Friendly interface
• Shall be Colored  LCD panel (320x240 pixel 3,2’’)
• Shall be Mono-phase/Di-phase/Three-phase capacitor connection
• Shall show harmonics of Voltage /Current between 1 to 31
• Compensation on low current  (10mA)
• Shall show capacitors connection on LCD panel
• Observation of 3 phase’s capacities at the same time
• V, I, COSφ, TANφ, W, VAR, VA, SW, SVAR, SVA, SWh, SVAR(ind), SVARh(cap), SVAh
• Shall be PC Communication (RS 485 )
• Shall be 40/5 A Current Transformer 
• All inputs-outputs shall be with 4 mm banana safety sockets

3 Phase Capacitor Group Module:
• Shall be Fuse protected
• Shall be Contactor controlled
• Shall be 3 x 0,5 KVAR, 3 x 1 KVAR, 3 x 1,5 KVAR capacitor groups
• All inputs-outputs shall be with 4 mm banana safety sockets

 

1-2 Phase Capacitor Group Module:

• Shall be Fuse protected
• Shall be Contactor controlled
• Shall be 2 x 0,5 KVAR, 1 x 0,5 KVAR, 1 x 0,5 KVAR, 1 x 0,5 KVAR capacitor groups
• All inputs-outputs shall be with 4 mm banana safety sockets
• Maximum capacitor power shall be 2KVAR / 450 V

 

3 Phase Inductive Load Group Module:

• Shall be Fuse protected
• Shall be Signal Lamp
• Shall be 3 x (0-1) KVAR each phase potantiometer controlled
• Shall be Fan-cooled
• Shall be PTC protected
• Shall be Fuse protected
• All inputs-outputs shall be with 4 mm banana safety sockets

PC Interface Module:
• Connection with PC to reactive relay
• Output shall be RS485
• All inputs-outputs shall be with 4 mm banana safety sockets

3 Phase Variable Resistive Group Module:

• Shall be Fuse protected for each phase
• Shall be Signal Lamp
• Shall be 0-5 stage packet circuit breaker controlled
• Shall be Fan-cooled
• Shall be 3x500W each phase 100W 5 stage
• All inputs-outputs shall be with 4 mm banana safety sockets

Accessories:
• Leads for applications
• Software for reactive relay
